Skills and experience / to be successful
- Coordination of subcontractors
- Exposure to medium / high rise residential / commercial projects
- Able to set out trades
- Quantifying of Materials
- Read & Interpret Drawings
- Ability to use Microsoft outlook, word and excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritise under pressure
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Carpentry Hands-on duties (ad hoc)
- Running Inductions and tool box talks
- Communicating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintaining quality control, troubleshoot and solve issues as they arise
- Ensure works are completed on time, safely and to a quality standard
- Understand Subcontractor requirements and ensure works are delivered in accordance with the contract (i.e. drawings, specifications, scope of works)
- Ensure workmanship complies with current Codes, Standards, Industry Practices and RDP Standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment adhering to OH&S practices
- Looking to take responsibility in making the steps towards becoming a Construction Manager
- Requires own tools, White card and Asbestos awareness card
- Wages negotiable, full time employment
